We're here to help.

Browse common questions below. For anything else, email support@dogecoinwallet.app. We typically respond within 1–2 business days.

Is Dogecoin Wallet really non-custodial?+

Yes. Your recovery phrase and private keys are generated on your device and stored in the iOS Secure Enclave / Keychain. We never see them and cannot access your funds.

I lost my recovery phrase. Can you recover my coins?+

No. Because we never have your keys, no one — including us — can recover your funds if your recovery phrase is lost or stolen. Always back it up securely before adding funds.

How do I back up my wallet?+

On first launch the app shows your 12/24-word recovery phrase. Write it down on paper and store it offline. You may also enable encrypted iCloud backup, which encrypts the phrase with a password you choose before storing it in your private iCloud.

What fees does the app charge?+

Dogecoin Wallet itself charges no fees. You only pay the standard Dogecoin network (miner) fee for outgoing transactions, which the app estimates for you.

Which iOS versions are supported?+

iOS 16 and later, on iPhone and iPad.

How do I import an existing wallet?+

Go to Settings → Wallets → Import, then enter your 12/24-word recovery phrase or paste a WIF private key.

Security warning

We will never ask for your recovery phrase, private keys, or spend password — not by email, not in chat, not anywhere. Anyone asking for them is trying to steal your funds.
